Announcement regarding changes to the Loyal Badge Collection & Quest Campaigns
Today, we want to share news with you regarding the changes of the Loyal Badge Collections.
In the process of building Pebble City, we have long been developing solid action plans to make a significant appearance in the Web3 space.
In that context, the Loyal Badge Collection was initially developed as a strategic tool not only to promote Pebble City in its hometown, Sui, but also to spread Pebble City’s name in the entire Web3 space and to attract potential users from other networks to the Sui Network.
After introducing the Loyal Badge to Pebble City, many users showed support for Pebble City's ambitious strides toward mass adoption. However, simultaneously, users shared opinions, including concerns about the high gas fees on the Ethereum network.
Pebble City is always ready to embrace, respond to, and incorporate feedback from the surrounding environment and our supportive users. Therefore, after carefully reviewing the valuable feedback from our users, we have decided to issue the Loyal Badge Collection on the Sui Network.
The Pebble City team believes that prioritizing the feedback and experiences of our supportive users is more important than adhering to our initial plans. And also predict there will be better opportunities and alternative approaches for mass adoption, aside from the loyal badge.
Through this decision, we anticipate the following effects:
Increased accessibility to the Loyal Badge Collection by moving away from the Ethereum network with high gas fees.
Alleviation of user confusion resulting from Pebble City's assets being issued on multiple networks.
We would like to inform users of the following subsequent measures resulting from the decision to issue the Loyal Badge Collection on the Sui Network:
Addition of a new Zealy Mission to the ongoing sprint: Sui Wallet Address Submit Mission
Extension of the Zealy Sprint period due to the addition of a new mission.
Change in Whitelist passing criteria to 500 points due to the addition of the mission.
Previously, we requested users to submit their Ethereum wallet addresses for whitelist registration. However, with the decision to issue on the Sui Network, we now require users' Sui wallet addresses. Therefore, we have added the Sui wallet address submission mission to the Zealy Sprint and extended the Sprint period by one week to accommodate users who may not have the chance to follow up on the sudden addition. The Sui network address you submit must be the Sui address from the Sui wallet provided by Mysten Labs, as the Loyal Badge Collection Mint Page will not support third-party wallets.
Due to the change in network, there are also changes in the minting period. While all development was originally completed for Ethereum, we now need to remake everything based on the Sui platform. Therefore, we will announce the exact minting date at a later time.
To summarize the key changes once again:
Pebble City's user-centric initiatives will continue in the future.
Thank you for your continued support.
Notes
Be sure to submit your Sui wallet address. The Loyal Badge Claim Page will only support connections with the official Sui wallet made by Mysten Labs.
Double-check your Sui wallet address before submission. We will whitelist the Sui wallet address you submitted while completing the Zealy quest. Pebble City will not be responsible for any errors in wallet address submission.
Any undoing of quests before the end of the campaign may result in disqualification or point deduction. e.g. Unfollowing Pebble City Twitter after completing the “Follow Pebble City Twitter” quest.
Pebble City respects the laws and regulations of each country and region. Depending on the legal environment of the user's country and region of residence, minting may not be possible.
While the Loyal Badge itself is free, you will be required to pay for Sui’s gas fee while minting the Loyal Badges.
